School libraries and media centers have evolved greatly over the past few decades. Technology has brought
multi-media into the main, functional part of these spaces.
Nearly all catalog systems are now on line. The computers that access the on line catalog also act as the access
point for the student/teacher internet access. Cain Ouse designs the special cabling and electrical systems
needed with this technological growth.
Libraries have also become the center of a school's interactive video classroom. These spaces and its equipment can be costly and require special support
systems. We integrate engineered mechanical systems and highly protected electrical power systems to support the equipment and keep people comfortable. We also
design lighting and lighting control systems that greatly enhance the user's experience within the space.
